Year 6 - @Bl6Plascrug
Welcome back to a brand new term.
Croeso nol i dymor newydd.
For the next five weeks, the pupils have planned an 'Arctic' themed term.
We will be exploring the Arctic through the animals and habitats found there, looking at the eradication of the ice caps in both poles due to human neglect, discovering how explorers survive in such harsh conditions and debating climate change and the effect on their future.
We've had a class 'makeover'! The year 6 classrooms now have areas where pupils can reinforce skills, take time to complete additional challenges, or use for their own independent learning during free time or wet playtimes.
We have used the amazing profits from the Christmas Fair to purchase comfortable beanbags, games, reading books, Engino sets and many more items to kit out our Science and Technology, Literacy and Numeracy areas. Diolch blant a da iawn chi!
